Your description of Web 2.0 makes a lot of sense...and matches my instinct.  I guess I hoped there was more to it.

I've heard good things from a lot of people about Remember the Milk, but I haven't actually tried it myself.  It sounds useful...since I'm always forgetting something at the store; this week it was biscotti.</description>

I don't think web app implies Web 2.0, because Web 2.0 probably means it has a lot of buzzwords, like ajax, tagging, and social application. So I think a few of those sites don't have enough buzzwords or hype to qualify as Web 2.0.

It seems like a lot of people love backpack and basecamp, but I can't really get in to using them. Maybe I'll give backpack another try, but now I'm hooked on Remember the Milk, which is another great Web 2.0 productivity thing. It's at the top of my web app list, along with Gmail.</description>
