Bug Test

March 18th, 2006

I’m testing the WP posting engine with this post. I’ve noticed sometimes that acronym elements nested with other elements will cause a problem. The text in this post will be added to in the next few minutes as I try to isolate the exact cause.

*Begin Test*

  1. SXSW
  2. The SXSW Interactive Conference
  3. I was at SXSWi 2006.
  4. Let’s eat dinner ASAP and then leave so we don’t get stuck with KP duty.

*End Test*

I’m not able to isolate the error yet. The “bug” happens when WordPress mistakenly adds an extra acronym element closing tag at the end of the article when saving a post. This causes all of the text from the throught the end of the article to be styled like the acronym element. I can usually fix it very easily be removing the extra element and resaving. Has this happened to anyone else?
