MSDN Event
A new MSDN Event has been announced. Three sessions are listed as the topics for the event:
- Session 1: Take Control of the Database Development Lifecycle with Visual Studio Team Edition for Database Professionals
- Session 2: Windows Workflow Foundation Exposed
- Session 3: Create Cutting-Edge Web Designs with Expression Web
Also, notable: Rory Blyth is listed as a presenter. This is interesting due to the recent announcement that he has joined the Channel 9 team. Anyway, it’ll be Bill Steele, Ron Cundiff, and Russ Fustino at the Texas events.
There is also a coinciding Technet Event for those of you who can’t get enough Microsoft in one day!

Hey -
I’m listed because I’m still “officially” part of the MSDN Events team.
Functionally speaking, I’m nowhere at the moment. Just on vacation.
I’ll be starting at C9 around the middle of this month. Then I’ll no longer be listed

Rory,
Thanks for clearing that mystery up. I’m looking forward to seeing you on C9 later this month; hopefully you can shake things up (a little more) around there.
No matter where you are (apparently “nowhere” right now), you’re still “The Smartest Man in the World”! I have to ask though, is that on your business card?

“I have to ask though, is that on your business card?”
Not yet
Right now it just says I’m a nice guy.
I put that down because I couldn’t quite figure out what my job actually was.
