		<description>Of course batteries are replaceable. The controversy is about the fact that you can't replace the batteries yourself. You'll have to send in the iPhone to Apple to have them changed like the way it is with iPods. 

This is not a good thing because while you can stay without your iPod for a couple of days but doing without your phone might leave many people crippled.</description>
